I'm really curious as to what kind of Save Editors you looked up because a google search on 'mass effect 2 save editor' certainly brings up a whole bunch of links discussing how to edit your Mass Effect 2 saves (including a 4 minute video on how to use the editor.). You can take an ME2.

Is there a comprehensive guide to Gibbed’s ME2 editor? In anticipation of ME:A I’ve been doing a playthrough of the trilogy. My main rig completely toasted itself on Wednesday, which included a wiped SDD and all my ME1 saves along with it.
I’ve been trying to use the Gibbed editor for ME2 saves but there’s a ton of options to toggle out there that I just don’t understand. I’ve been searching around and haven’t seen a good guide for it.

Anyone have any good resources for comprehensive use of the editor?
