If you don’t see the menu option above, right-click the photo and click Edit & create Edit. Once you are in the editing interface, click the huge Crop and rotate menu at the top of the edit pane. This will activate the anchors at the edges of the photo. To begin cropping, drag the anchors inward.

Step 1: Open the picture file with the Photos app. If Photos is the default picture viewer, you just need to double-click on an image to open it with Photos. If it’s not the default picture viewer, right-click on the image file, click Open with, and then click Photos option.
Step 2: Click anywhere on the Photos app to reveal the hidden toolbar.
Step 3: Click Edit & Create to see the drop-down menu. Now click the Edit option.
Step 4: You will now see a new panel on the right-side with Crop and rotate button. Click on the Crop and rotate button.
Step 5: Four circles will appear at the four corners of the image. You can either move a circle or move the line that appears at the edge the image to crop it.
After cropping the picture, click Done button to save it.
Click Save a copy image if you would like to save it as a different file instead of making changes to the original picture file. Click Save button to apply the changes to the original picture.
